With the Guardian now saying it’s a done deal, it appears that Barcelona have straight up traded serial malcontent Samuel Eto’o for serial sulk-artist Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Inter.
There seems to be a certain honesty to this deal, as each team hands the other “damaged goods” while saying, “we can’t make him work, you try.”
I can’t even begin to tell you how much I hate this deal.
Inter’s getting 40M Euros and the services of Hleb as well. Great trade by Inter; extremely boneheaded move by the team that won it all last year.
